Have you made the switch to Google’s Chrome yet? It was released into the wild in September 2008. At that time, heavy net users disliked the lack of extensions available for the new browser. In the time since, it has developed a very nice ecosystem of extensions which provide great additions to it’s usefulness.
It consistently tests faster than the other major browsers on the market. In addition, it has well designed infrastructure to prevent the hazards of the internet for invading your computer. One major way of accomplkishing this is by starting each tab in it’s own process, thereby limiting the surface area available to attack it.
Go ahead and download chrome here, if you haven’t yet.
