What is it? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It provides an easy way for your website to provide your content to subscribers without them having to visit your website. To explain what it does, it provides your recently updated content in a machine readable form that can be displayed by a RSS reader or an external website setup to display RSS feeds.
Why use RSS?
RSS allows your visitors to easily visit your web pages easily. They aren’t required to open a browser and type in the URL to view your content. The web is all about making the exchange of information easier. Why force them to visit your site, just let them retrieve your content at their leisure! This allow them to save a tremendous amount of time. Making life easier for your readers is the best thing you can do!
